Karlamuiza has unforgettable cycling routes for all levels and abilities around Gauja National Park.

We arrange exciting Mountain Bike tours, where you can test your skills and hardiness. You will have the opportunity to see interesting places and majestic scenery. Cycling routes run along the forest roads and trails in the Amata and Gauja river valleys, avoiding the highways. Tours combines quiet minor roads with exciting wilderness tracks. Our mountain bike tours are suitable for groups and beginner, intermediate to advanced riders.

1. Karlamuiza – Araisi – Raksi – Karlamuiza  The length is approximately 22km. The route terrain is hilly, an easy degree of difficulty level. Araisu windmill;   Drabesu manor and park; ruins of Araisu castle; Araisu lake castle; Araisu evangelic Lutheran church and priest’s house; Siimtenupe; Racenu secular trees.
2. Karlamuiza – Zvarte rock – Gauja – Karlamuiza The length is approximately 20km. The route terrain is hilly, a moderate degree of difficulty level. Sesilu pine forest; Raksu klintis; Simtenu (Dzirnes) cave; the Gauja; Krustkalnu medieval cemetry; Zvarte rock un Lustuzis cliff; Ainavu steep and the ancient bed of the Amata.
3. Karlamuiza – Livi – Cesis – Raksi – Karlamuiza The length is approximately 28km. The route terrain is hilly, an easy degree of difficulty level. Oluvas manor; the Old City of Cesis, ruins of Cesis castle; Raksu Zoo and cliffs; River Simtenupe; Racenu secular trees.
4. Karli  – Raksi – Zvarte rock – Karli . The length is approximately 15 – 25km. The route terrain is hilly, a moderate degree of difficulty level. Karlamuiza; Sesilu pine forest; Raksu klintis; Simtenu (Dzirnes) cave; the Gauja; Krustkalnu medieval cemetry; Zvarte rock un Lustuzis cliff;  Racenu secular trees; Ainavu steep and the ancient bed of the Amata.
5. Karli  – Zvarte rock – Ligatne – Karli  The length of the route to Ligatne is approximately 13-20km. The overall length is 30 – 35km. The route terrain is very hilly, a high degree of difficulty level.
