+ Die ruhige Lage von Karlamuiza im Nationalpark war sehr erholsam und die Gastgeberin sehr nett.
Germany+ Eine wunderbare Adresse um zeitlos zu entspannen! Das alte Gut ist geschmack- und liebevoll restauriert mit einer guten Ausstattung der Zimmer und Bäder. Inmitten wild romantischer Natur läßt sich dort gut träumen. Unterstützt wird man dabei von der jungen, charmanten Eigentümerin, die sich Mühe gibt keine Wünsche übrig zu lassen. Falls etwas nicht passt, einfach sagen – das geht nicht überall! Wer Natur mag sollte in den Gauja Nationalpark und dort unbedingt im Karlamuiza pausieren!

Spain+ Siamo una coppia cinquantenne e ci piace girovagare.Ci siamo concessi una sosta di 2 notti al Karlamuiza Hotel e siamo rimasti entusiasti sia per il magnifico paesaggio nel cuore del Gauja National Park che per la cordiale e raffinata accoglienza che ci è stata offerta in questo squisito country hotel. Da consigliare vivamente.

Spain+ Muy tranquilo, habitaciones amplias y con mucha luz. Buen desayuno. Cenas sencillas pero muy agradables, sobre todo si se realizan en el exterior.
- En las habitaciones falta algún asiento cómodo (tumbona, sofá). El personal, que es amable, podría involucrarse un poco más en recomendar actividades y excursiones a los clientes.
Spain+ L'albergo è in una posizione splendida e meriterebbe un soggiorno più lungo di un semplice passaggio. La stanza assegnataci era un vero appartamento, spazioso, confortevole e pulito. la proprietaria gentilissim.

These delightful stone homestead lodgings were the perfect base to explore the historic town of Cesis and the nearby national park attractions. Our room was vast and comfortable. We had a fridge and tea making facility in our room, so made our own breakfast on a lovely balcony overlooking the apple orchard, grassy hill and forest in the distance. Then we saw what our hostess had set up for another guest's breakfast and had a little 'breakfast envy'!
Our hostess was delighrtful and even invited us to play croquet on the lawn by the pond with her 2 children and a few others. When the kids dived into the pond during a break from the game, I couldn't help it but dive in with them ….. who coined the phrase 'Baltic'? The hot summer we had this year and the very swimmable streams (pond) and ocean disproved the myth.
Anyway, if you want a truly peaceful place to stay in the Cesis region, this is brilliant. I should mention that they also provide a 3 course evening meal, although we had already decided to go to a nice restaurant in Cesis.
